YOUR LEARNING OUTCOMES

What you will be able to do.

Vice presidents and directors working across functions, regions and senior stakeholder groups.

  • Identify decision owners, informal influence, incentives and dependencies without treating assumptions as facts.
  • Test concerns privately, understand trade-offs and seek support without promising conflicting outcomes.
  • Practise constructive disagreement, protect confidentiality and recognise when an issue needs transparent escalation.
  • Build a coalition plan with clear concessions, boundaries and commitments that survive the formal meeting.
WHAT YOU WILL CREATE

A stakeholder map, coalition plan and scripts for alignment and escalation.

IN PRACTICE

A situation you could face.

A regional president quietly resists your operating-model proposal while the CFO supports it. Public agreement masks conflicting incentives. Find a workable route to a decision and preserve the relationships needed to deliver it.

YOUR TASK

A stakeholder map, coalition plan and scripts for alignment and escalation.
